I was just 4 yrs old when this ayodhya incident happened, and i don't know what general youth were thinking back then or were they even thinking at all??..frankly i do not care. Because here;' the deal. I have been around, I know people..and hardly 10 % of them are seriously concerned about their religion. Hardly 5 % of them know any facts and are not have a least interest to care(a note...am in the majority 95 here)...I will tell you what this 95 % worries about......
- 10 of them are worrying about tomorrow's social studies unit test exam and where do they mark a country called France in the world map.
- 5 of them are breaking their head over Calculus and Magnetism.
- 10 of them are studying 20hrs a day for the next weekend test.
- 10 of them worry about their next customer call and how are they gonna tackle it.
- 5 of them are hell bent of improving their vocabulary for the GRE round the corner.
- 5 of them are trying to bell the CAT.
- 10 of them worry about how their software code compiles today.
- 5 of them are into making music, movies and all that good stuff.
- 5 of them are working hard day in and day out to piss off their parents money.
- LBNL, 30 of them are working odd jobs to just buy their next meal.
Yeah, that's right. If thats hard to believe call your cousins and compare how many of them are researching Gita/Bible/Quran to how many that will ask your view on the coming IPL auction or ask you to explain them Photoelectric effect clearly(one last time pleaseeee).
Absolutely no one really really cares about religion today. Some people who fool themseleves by thinking that they do care...please do that in your own confines and in your own time..We all pray to God(some of us atleast), but that doesn't mean we want to kill people who don't follow my principles...Lets be sane here..its time..oh screw it...its probably some decades late in time to do this. But lets do this. Lets cool it, lets concentrate more on the above stuff. Lets learn new foriegn laguages, lets pick up a guitar, lets play MORE cricket, lets hangout in a fun way, lets not get manipulated. And more importantly, lets not take sides in matters like ayodhya, lets not have silly group discussons again, again and again(trust me...its a stupid waste of time)..and finally lets not give DIRTY looks to people who are not too concerned about religion. They rock.....
